LAUREN WHETSTONE, President

Lauren is a Senior Research Analyst with Survata where she works on translating data into actionable insights for a variety of brands. She is passionate about leveraging data to create social and environmental impact. 

Lauren graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in International Affairs, as well as minors in History and Social Entrepreneurship.

DANIEL HERAS, Vice President & Finance

Daniel is a Product Manager at Off the Grid, the San Francisco based mobile food events company, that strives to create community, foster relationships with entrepreneurs, and design unique experiences for the public, private engagements, and corporate campuses.         

Daniel holds an M.B.A. from Presidio Graduate School and a B.A. in Architecture from UC Berkeley, and was an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow with the City of Austin in 2013.

ELLA CLAUSEN

Ella is a corporate communications professional dedicated to corporate social responsibility and social impact initiatives. Her expertise is in bolstering corporate reputation by helping companies identify, and then communicate about their social purpose stories to consumers and media. She is currently with the leading supplier of organic and Fair Trade certified tea, Numi Organic Tea, where she is telling their social impact story through digital marketing and media. Previously, Ella was on the Business + Social Purpose team at the world's largest PR agency, Edelman, specializing in work ranging from diversity & inclusion, corporate sustainability, to STEM education. Ella graduated from Boston University with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Environmental Analysis & Policy.

Areas of Expertise: Corporate social responsibility, social impact, green business, sustainable food systems, diversity & inclusion, green marketing, media relations, social media.

CHAD DEVOS

Chad DeVos is a Senior Associate Consultant at Triage Consulting Group, where he focuses on hospital reimbursement and revenue cycle review. Chad looks forward to learning about sustainability from other leaders in the community and educating others on how to make a positive impact.

Chad graduated from UC Davis with a degree in a Managerial Economics and enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, and going to concerts in his free time.

ROSS OVERLINE

Ross has been an involved member of Net Impact for more than 3 years. As a former member of the University of Minnesota undergraduate chapter (which won chapter of the year), the Vice President of the Minneapolis professional chapter, and now on the board of the SF professional chapter and the Professional Advisory Board of NI HQ, he has a lot of experience driving value to chapter members and evangelizing our mission. He started a marketing firm in college and worked with Clients like Patagonia and WoodchuckUSA making sustainable products, worked in investment banking, stopped by Twitter to manage some marketing, and is now building his own nonprofit to help inspire integrity and stewardship in the financial sector. He's a proud nerd and spends his free time meditating, reading, and mentoring.

TANVI PRADHAN

Tanvi is a sustainable investments professional, and is responsible for integrating Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into investment strategies and portfolios at the SRI Wealth Management Group in RBC Wealth Management. She also works on team strategy, partnerships, marketing, and manager research among other things. Tanvi has previously worked as Research Assistant - Divestment at the SF State University Foundation, where she developed a carbon footprint model for equity portfolios, and as a trader at Barclays Investment Bank in Hong Kong.

Tanvi has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, India. She also pursued a second MBA from the San Francisco State University (SFSU) to study sustainable business. Tanvi has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Pune, India.

Results-oriented sustainability leader with successful track record of developing strategy, launching and managing projects, building private sector partnerships, designing and implementing sustainability initiatives, working cross-functionally and increasing employee engagement. Known for creating dynamic marketing and communication strategies that convey impact and build brand loyalty. MBA candidate in Sustainable Management with global perspective and holistic approach to addressing today’s sustainability challenges.

My ideal work environment is one that focuses on impact, is fast-paced, offers leadership and personal development opportunities, promotes inter-disciplinary thinking and makes socially and environmentally responsible decisions.

IAN ZHU

Ian is a Client Success Manager for Oracle's Opower product portfolio. He works with West Coast utilities to design, implement, and manage energy efficiency programs to meet state-level saving targets. Previously Ian was a technology consultant at PwC, helping Fortune 500 companies deliver complex programs and systems in the technology, financial services, healthcare, and telecommunications sectors. He enjoys cooking, backpacking, and custom Game of Thrones board games. Ian graduated from UC Berkeley with BA in Economics.
